When we said to our friends that we are going to Slovenia for a family activity holiday, they all knew this is a beautiful country with Lakes, sea, old towns and canyons. What they didn’t know, and what I feel they are missing out on when travelling to Slovenia is exploring a bit of the less well known areas like Bohinj.  The Lake water is great, and everyone who wishes to relax should choose Lake Bohinj. For our teenage kids, just perfect. We need activities to keep them occupied. This is why we feel that Slovenia adventure holidays for family with teenagers will remain at the top of our list for a long time. There are so many ways to seize the day. And if you are lucky to get Jan for your guide, this will be a day you and your kids will never forget.

This family activity holiday was really fun and Lake Bohinj was the highlight. The guides were relaxed throughout, friendly, very helpful to my 3 kids and really went out of their way to make sure we had a great family holiday. The hotel was very comfortable and the food included nice and very generous. Slovenia was absolutely beautiful, even better than expected. The rivers were so clear and the scenery was stunning and the highlight of our time was Lake Bohinj.

What a stunning place to visit. Less touristic than Bled, and equally as beautiful. You can find high ropes and canoe fun to keep the teenagers active and lots of fab walking routes. Our guides were super. Especially Mojca.
